I didn't do ACTL but I'd probably go FINS1613 being hardest, then ACCT1511, then ECON1102 (i.e. easiest).

To me, FINS1613 was substantially different to 1612 which was a piece of cake- 1613 actually introduced some concepts which required you to think rather than regurgitate. ACCT1511 can be easy for some and hard for others- but it depends on who your lecturer/tutor is. My tutor was useless and cried which meant learning just wasn't really an option- and would also explain why it took me many years to catch up and teach myself cash flow statements (it's even harder when you need to talk to clients about it!) and ECON1102 is just HSC economics with a bit more thought required.

I have done all but ACCT1511, because its accounting...
ACTL1001 is the hardest and ECON1102 and FINS1613 are about the same in my opinion (not hard compared to ACTL), BTW I didnt do HSC Economics and achieved a similar mark in both econ and fins.

Source: Took these 3 last sem along with MATH1251.

im thinking of doing ACTL1001 (sem two only), MATH1081, MATH1251, plus another easy comm flex next sem, so i wont be too stress with ACTL1001 and MATH1081.

because i havent decide what major im going to take and actuarial might be one of them. but you are right, taking an easy subject would be better in that case. any suggest on which one to take other than those four ? MARK, LEGT or INFS ?

ACTL1001 isn't that hard, not with Brian's "less mathematically-intensive" assessment anyway. I thought it was easier than 1251, but maybe that's just me.

I personally did LEGT in my first sem. It's not too bad but it's not very useful if you aren't planning to use it. If you have no interest in pursuing ACTL, don't do it as it'll not help you at all.
