Just looked at the paper and solutions I downloaded - counted like 79.

you guys should proabbly take note aligning marks isn't linear.

think of it as an lnx graph with x being your mark.
My understanding, and I believe the understanding of Lazarus et al. who have done heaps of research on this, is that alignment is linear between each band's cutoffs, so overall it may look like a ln x graph, or it may not, depending on where the cutoffs are set.

God, I'm praying for 70/120
I thought I was gonna get mid 70s until I looked at the solutions and I instantly lost 7 marks in the first question. Jesus Christ.
Oh well, that should align up to at least 85 right? That's my goal.

That's not true at all. Of course it's linear.

There is a linear relationship between every raw mark and every aligned mark, and it is a different linear relationship for each performance band.

I don't know where the ln x idea came from. No graphs have ever been published.

It's impossible to know unless you're one of the Board's judges.

Any other person who attempts to guess may as well be giving you the equivalent of rand(0, 120).

Just have to wait and see!
