i cbb to study for sc anymore
gosh
its annoying and i rather read a good book then study

just remember
NONE of this counts to our HSC
Its pretty much for the govt to see how well the schools are performing as a whole
and you cant fail
my teacher (geo) didnt even sit her sc coz she was overseas that period of time.
Also you cant fail sc, the minute you sit down in the hall you get 50 for jsut being there and for other reasons i cbb to explain
And the school cant force you not to carry onto year 11 jsut coz yu didnt do great or so forth

thats one of those retarded myths
either way, Sc is worthless.
Im still going to make half an effort just for my own satisfaction
don't want to regret it if i end up with abysmal marks

yup, it sure is. Believe it or not 1-2% of people "fail" (in the NSW governments eyes (not meaning lower than 50%, this is wayyyyy lower than 50%)).

Don't bother studying unless if you are concerned about whether if you will get band 5 for english, maths and science, since they have the harder subjects like advanced english, extension 1 english, mathematics, mathematics extension 1, physics and chemistry....

Seriously, its just a waste of time and not even looked on unless if you are leaving school to get a job or go to TAFE or something...

And the only reason why I would be studying is to please my parents with at least band 5s for everything...

I didn't really study. The School Certificate means nothing if you're staying on to year 12, and it's really not that difficult so you don't really need to. However it's much nicer seeing the band 5's and 6's on the papers they send you instead of 3's and 4's, no matter how insignificant the exams may be.

If you're dropping out it's a different story. Study as much as you can and do your very best because this is your last chance, why make your future harder for yourself? Push yourself now - it's not too late - to be in the best position possible.
