Does anyone know when we get the actual 2012 cutoffs and how much do you think the courses will vary by?

When the Main Round offers are released. I wouldn't expect any more than perhaps... 1 or 2 ATAR movements at most.

i heard something about the uncapping of uni places which is supposed to make them go lower, anyone else hear this or know what its about?

If that's the case then i will be happy but then you also have to consider we are the biggest HSC group of 72,000 students so i'm not too sure mate.
