ATAR Estimates - What do you think you'll get? (1 Viewer)

I left each of my exams pretty happy to be honest. That was until i stumbled on here...I went over the answers that you guys provided to some of the exams and now i am not so confident.

I reckon i got;
Business 70%
Standard Eng 80%
Maths 60%
Religion 88 or 90%
I reckon i'll get,
Modern 80%
Legal 65%

I do 11 units so they will half both, my Religion (highest marks) and Maths (lowest) and add them. 45 + 30 = 75 (That is how i heard they sort it out in order to convert it to 10 units)

So pretty much my results look like this;
Business 70%
Standard Eng 80%
Maths/Religion 75%
Modern 80%
Legal 65%

The average is 70+80+75+80+65 / 5 = 74

Am i right in assuming my mark will revolve somewhere around that figure?

no because raw marks =/= the marks the bos provides on december 14th (it usually goes up )

Hopefully an 85, but realistically an 80.

How is it possible to get 78 with only one exam mark below 82? You need to give yourself much more credit and a pat on the shoulder. Well done on your possible rsults.

and i will probably get dragged down....

and my confidence levels probably make me think i did better in the exams then i probably did...

Ohh dam, I have been failing this entire year...That will probably bring my marks down. However, my school is a really good school and that will possibly scale me up (?)

I thought if you did 11 units they just halved your worst subject??? I may be wrong, but I don't think your Religion mark would be halved.

Don't wanna get too personal but in short, i have a disability which has hindered my studying ability greatly. I filled out an EAS with a hospital figure (my Dermatologist) filling out a medical impact statement. I have all the required documents sorted and I've been pretty much guaranteed acceptance.

All my tests so far I have under-performed. So, I'm thinking I might just be able to scrape 95. MIGHT.

Well I am not entirely certain but I think that is what they do - you could probably find the info somewhere on the UAC site. Good luck

Business Studies - ~83/100 9/51
2Unit Maths - ~87/120 17/46
Economics - ~78/100 10/26
Legal Studies - ~82/100 12/55
Physics - ~84/100 13/28

Seeing as though you only think you got one subject above 85 and the fact that your internals arent that great...i'm sorry i honestly don't think you will. I reckon you'll get just below it though. Just my two cents though..

i should of mentioned those marks are raw. not scaled. does that change anything?
