When I was in yr 10, my work experience employer said he looked highly upon people who have worked at McDonalds or KFC because they train staff well or something. Frankly, the KFC in my area is full of staff who struggle to speak English.

the best way is to go into stores and ask. Only Macca's is the one that recruit heavily from online. The rest is more go in and ask.

If you're looking for a job whilst at school, I'd say that Maccas is alright, as well as some call center jobs - they're not too stressed and pay alright. (Well, what I mean is that maccas pays alright for the amount of "competence" you need. And that call centers pay quite well considering you're seated.)

For uni, probably get a part-time job wherever your degree will be useful.

are both excellent. Though you'd need a friend/connection who goes to those universities for an account. Lots of tutor, sales assistant, telemarketing etc on top of more specialised jobs.

I reckon a call centre job would be alright while at uni (no, I am not Indian lol).

If you want to write articles I pay $1 (up to $1.50 for the best writers - including in Australia) per 500 word article. Albeit this is mostly contracted out to India.

Call centre rates range anywhere from $17 - $22 an hr.

Great rates but terrible work environment.

Charities/sales related call centre roles pay less than market research/newspoll jobs.

Unless you're a mute or cannot string together a coherent sentence, you should be able to get them without much job experience. (Been there done that)
