somebody's anxious that ppl are getting an advantage ay Rench...
(1) The morning lectures deal with extra-curricular applications on mathematics. (I must say that the lectures could have been better organised and more involving other students.) In the afternoon session, students go to one topic of the Extension 2 course and learn techniques to master that topic.~ ReNcH ~ said:1. Does it cover the whole course...i.e. is it a whole-day lecture sort of thing?
2. How much does it cost?

Is the TSD like the USyd lectures? I.e. you can only choose one topic?McLake said:TSD is worth it. Best idea is to get students from your school to go to all the different afternoon topics, and then share notes.
So I'm presuming that an invitation is sent to all schools that have students sitting MX2...?Slide Rule said:I think they invite you, so you don't need to worry about missing it.

ruse doesnt send their whole grade to tsd...not even their whole top class
last year there were only 4 ruse students there, of which one was a yr11 medallist and not a 4u student yet
and even worse, they made us wear school uniform, including our blazer...our jerseys hadnt arrived yet (they usually arrive around last week of term 3)
Good question. No teacher at my school has ever remarked on this, and I, personally, have never heard of it.~ ReNcH ~ said:So I'm presuming that an invitation is sent to all schools that have students sitting MX2...?
