Cambridge exercises: are they unnecessarily challenging? (1 Viewer)

I understand that Cambridge would be a good option for EX1 or EXT2, but personally, did you or your friends, each who used a different textbook, actually differ in marks depending on whether you used MIF or Cambridge?

I can speak for Selective School students based on their overall statistics for 2u. I did better than average of James Ruse and North Sydney Boys and Girraween (schools which only use shitty Cambridge) using only Maths in Focus and past papers to learn, I only referred to Cambridge just to read the notes if I felt the need to (rarely), I never actually did any questions of Cambridge at all.

In addition, none of the last hard questions that appeared in the 2024 HSC maths advanced paper were similar to any questions in Cambridge.

The Cambridge authors are fucking patronizing and annoying. They think you're stupid if you can't comprehend their bad verbose explanations
