Alright, but can they be explicitly tested in assessments/exams?
no its oos so they won't ask you to say relay the general solutions, but complicated questions can be drastically simplified by applying the general solutions

Also, does anyone know for UNSW med specifically if you can apply through local and gateway scheme simultaneously, like I don't feel comfortable having to compete for 10 spots through gateway but I'm also cooked because if I apply locally my ATAR will probably be less than others.

Plath and Hughes. A bit more confusing than other Mod A texts bc context isn't temporal, but more personal iykwim
I'm also doing Plath and Hughes and been struggling a lot, esp with comparisons between Plath's 'Fever 103' and Hughes' 'Fever.' The titles are similar, but the content in the poems is so different that I legit don't know what sort of thesis you can build between them.

is there carry forward errors in physics?
If you are asking if it is possible to make a mistake that consequently causes other parts of a question to be incorrect, it is entirely possible.
However, markers for these arithmetic subjects (Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology in some cases) will not mark you down on incorrect values for later parts of the question, for such a situation. If there is sufficient and accurate working (as in, the method is accurate but the values may not be) then you will only be marked incorrect for the first instance that caused these subsequent incorrect values, but not for the recurring incorrect values in later parts of the question caused by a previous incorrect value.

I am, however, unsure about recurring mistakes across multiple questions. I recommend further reading the marking guidelines, consulting with your Physics teacher, and inquiring if you need further assisstance.

Hope this helps :)

For example, if Q.15 asks me to find a) displacement then b) velocity, I will be marked down for part a) for getting an incorrect value. However for b), I will not be marked down for getting the wrong number for velocity caused by the wrong number for displacement. Instead, the marker will read the working for part b) and discrete whether the solution would be correct if the values were correct.

Who else has my exact subjects please I need a friend to stress with... English Extension II and History Extension is actually so intensive, but it's all worth it  surely...just as long as I'm distanced from STEM at all times because I could not cope with maths advanced.
whats ur MW for 4u on. tell me and ill tell u mine

I mean, for most of their poems, its Plath using the moments of her life to comment on bigger pictures, like the oppressive nature of the patriarchy from the perspective of a woman in the 1960's. And Hughes takes her motifs and changes the narrative. For me personally, in Fever 103, I saw the bigger pictures as Plath commenting on the hellish standards of 'purity' set on women. Hughes' response kind of diminishes her suffering, suggesting that she might be overreacting for no reason. He attempts to see reason with her perspective, but ultimately paints her as an irrational fanatic.

Thats just my reading tho 😝

I totally see that and it makes Hughes' parts of the module so hard to get through (excluding the fact that Sylvia Plath is just a better writer). At the same time, I kinda feel like Fever is almost in a regretful perspective, esp with the last stanza where he was like "I said nothing. I said nothing.", where he acknowledged his failings in their relationship. I don't know what's up with his other poems though.

I don't know what's up with his other poems though.
All his other poems are really the same thing. Because of Plath's poems, her readers pinned Hughes as the main cause of her trauma and death, and Hughes' 'Birthday letters' is nothing but a response to 'Ariel' as an attempt to clear his name during this time (although he really enforces how shitty he is imo lmao). So he's really taking her exact motifs in each poem - the ones which describe her struggle against the patriarchy - and turning these motifs against her to make her suffering seem unreasonable. He does this with almost all his poems.

Keep in mind contextually, Hughes had burned many of Plath's poems after her death, especially ones which spoke about him and how he effect her. All his poems in 'Birthday letters' are essentially an attempt to victimise himself using the poems where Plath explores HER victimhood. I actually don't know how this could relate to a bigger picture though lmao

"The Gateway Entry Scheme at UNSW Medicine is an alternate entry stream into the Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine (BMed/MD) program for applicants that come from low socio-economic status backgrounds. "
