I'm not a fan honestly. They're fine, but they're not all that smooth for exams (I prefer ballpoint for fast writing, plus the barrel slips cause there's no grip as qweeosh said), and they're only really good for writing neat notes. Some people love them though, so it's up to u. If u like inky pens, maybe the smooth writing ink from Muji could work?

I rlly like uniball jetstream pens because they're super smooth and inkier than most ballpoint pens. They're sorta expensive unless u buy value packs though. I honestly recommend going to officeworks and trying out the different pens on the spot - I was struggling to find a suitable pen beforehand, too

Ok so I'm dumb and I realised that jetstream is a rollerball pen. No wonder it's so smooth. But yeah, uniball makes good rollerball pens

Yeahhh eye is great, but I actually found that it was a bit tooo inky and bled through thinner pages. It's also pretty thick. Good for exams though

(I should mention that the clicky jetstream pen versions are arguably a bit better than the standard capped ones in the 10 pack, but a lot more pricey)
