Exactly, both Preludes and Rhapsody are my replacement paragraphs (in case one gets mandated) and I literally just wrote the same stuff for both, just changed up the quotes and analysis

yeah when i was planning the essay i literally copy pasted the rhapsody paragraph and changed 'rhapsody' to 'preludes'

Exactly, the only difference is that preludes emphasises the circularity of time, whilst rhapsody is just about its inevitability + fancy stuff about lunar synthesis

Exactlyyy I do Prufrock + Hollow Men + Magi because it shows a progression the best

I kinda feel like replacing prufrock with preludes tho

bro same i cant memorise or write that sounds way too smart LMAOO

forget the weird time and memory sucking souls stuff. just do urban decay and talk about the contrast between the manmade (lamp) and the natural (moon). the lamp is given authority and narrates as it sputters and mutters and says this one really fucking long sentence of dialogue. the moon is described in this really ugly (i forgot how- i wanna so something about crooks or wrinkles? idk) as you creep toward the last page of the poem (you can interpret this in whatever way you want - which is good because you can just flip it to answer the question). so the moon is like the victim, the lamp is just stomping over everything and the moon is seen as this evil been with her face crust and evil lunar incantations. idk

Yaaa I think it’s quite easy since it’s comparative but my critical study is worth 10% and the others are worth 5% so I’m lowk prioritising

my mod b is 15% and mod a, c and paper 1 are 5%. like my common mod essay was literally 2.5% why did i even try at that point lol

its about spiritual renewal and transformation. it showcases the struggles that arise with spiritual transformations with references to 'death' meaning like death of old values/beliefs/systems. also shows how individuals feel alienated when they let go of these ideas etc

Just draw links between the poems casually and talk about "stylistic integrity" and you'll be fine

Also a useful point is that they're all about some sort of journey, but the only one that gets anywhere is Magi
