Most programs are pretty big from what I've seen, but I found this nifty one on teh interweb which puts your computer through its paces...I suppose. It's like comparing penis size, but totally not gay.

http://www.passmark.com/products/pt.htm

Download it, run it (make sure you have a disk in your drive and upgrade the DirectX thing), export the results for the net and then copy, paste and compare! :D

I'm preparing to be humbled by people who have bought a computer within the last, oh, 5 years or so. :p

Lol zehurricane you probobly got a cheap motherboard and with only 150GB it will be full really easy.
Wait did you just upgrade some parts?
If you did then you paid too much (depending on what you upgraded).

man ive been waiting for graphics cards to drop in price and now they have, alot more than i though, this would be a good thing except that means the new 9 series nvidias are most likely going to kill the 8 series cards so not sure if i should wait or go for an 8 series :vcross:

hey guys i have a question

Like, mine's a 2500+ Barton cpu and I hear it's meant to have a cpu fsb speed of 333MHz, but in the settings the speed is only at 100MHz. If I change it to 166MHz (to get it up to speed), which I'm assuming is the default setting for this cpu, that won't stuff things up will it?

I was just thinking because like, the sticker on the memory says 400MHz, whereas the cpu would be running at 333MHz, that it might cause some kind of catastrophic failure. :(

In other words, I'm scared.
