GAH!! trumpet_geek wishing she was a string player?!

*falls of chair*

whats goin on mate?! :D
I was a string player. I was 4 years old. I threw a tantrum about practice, many times. And my parents took my tiny violin away... and now my parents regret it, because I practice my trumpet.

if you want a career out of music DO NOT go to Newcastle Con!!
My teacher finished honours at Newcastle Con last year, and he's in Sinfonia now.

dude how good were the north sydney boys big band and james morrison!!!! Uh -oh.... i think ujuphleg might get angry at me for going off the topic ... sorry mate

ok um...... er.... yeah im not sure about that comment timyates made on the newcastle con either...... it doesnt matter where you go you can still make a musical carreer if you really wanted to - just because ur at the Sydney con doesnt necesarily guarrantee you a job.

I don't mind off topic Joe - I just mind when the thread gets over-run if you get my drift

eg. PAU thread or Con students thread (although I suppose moons obsession with Vanessa was con related....) but yeah you get what i mean.

a mid 70s uai eh? are they a really good sax player??
i need to know how much uai goes towards getting into the course.
i know its the playing that counts for the most, but im sure uai is taken into consideration as well and music marks probably :)
