thats not too bad then, so we do less subjects than we do at school
Oh you are going to regret saying that soon when they go through one chapter of the textbook per week and give you like 50 maths questions per week because they can... <_<

I said the same thing too. And then... university happened.

Pretty confused at the moment-

1. Sydney Uni- Bachelor of Science- psychology
OR
2. Maquarie Uni- Bachelor of Business Administration with Arts- Psychology
OR
3. Macquarie Uni- Bachelor of Arts/Science

No.2 looks good at the moment, but I really want to go to Sydney Uni!!

Does anyone have any suggestions as to which one I should do? It would be much appreciated! :)

bachelor of property economics at UTS seems wiser then Doing a bachelor of business/commerce at UWS.. UTS facilities seem to be better and the course is much more realistic from what I've been told. should be FUN :D

UTS Courses are more "practical" and are wanted by the Industry because of the skills taught by UTS :)

i heard this too. but reputation-wise is not as good as USYD and UNSW.
Yeah, for most stuff, but it doesn't matter to employers that much, they'll hire UTS students (most anyway) for Business/IT :) because they're more aimed at management skills.

oh. but how does UTS make the courses more "practical" ? do they give you jobs between courses ? or maybe a year off to work ?

nope, that's entirely your choice, it's their assignments/assessments/tasks which make it more "practical" and real life like.

It does however suck because that just means it's more group work and you get stuck with total random idiots most of the time.

Most are randomly allocated, like the "Real world" hence more practical :tongue2:

:rotfl:

Yeah doesn't really work, and WAM could also mean they screwed up 1 subject, but did ok in the other 3?

There's stuff everyone hates, like accounting, and stuff which is ok, so it isn't really relevant.

Frankly I feel everyone should do a BA, nothing else has the potential to enlighten students that a BA in my opinion.
If you just want to do Economics or Business or Science or Law, it's something to keep you sane as someone who has spent 2 years at uni those doing those courses without a combined BA really do suffer.

Why is there no UNSW...?

From those three - Sydney is your best choice, methinks (no GUG).
