Nah no doubt, he really does suit the role. It's just the guys face, he has one of those faces that shouts "Please oh please punch the daylight out of me!"

I was getting sick of RTD in the 4th season. His writing appeared to have deteriorated, so I;m glad Moffat became head writer.

10mins into the 2nd episode, and the Doctor's new character is awesome. He's eccentric, but not David Tennant-eccentric... (?)

That sounds like an improvement :)

I thought RTD was becoming a bit too entertained with the idea of writing Doctor Who by that point - it was confirmed to continue, so he could tweak the rules a bit.

Just for the new series, 3 out of 4 season finales were with the daleks.
I'm praying to God that this season finale will be something a bit more original.

But I just finished watching the 2nd episode, and Matt Smith is brilliant. Stephen (or Steven?) Moffat is brilliant.

Why would you feel better for having waited? It's the same show whether you watch it on the ABC or elsewhere.

I bought red converse and wore them as my school shoes (with my long blue school pants similar to the Doctor's) :)
So it's quite plausible that I may eventually want a tweed jacket in the near future...

You can definately tell the Doctor Who is EXTREMELY influential if immediately afterwards you thought to yourself 'I want to try that!'...which I did :p
We have fish fingers in the freezer, but no custard :(

I found last nights episode a bit see through, it was written by moffat so i was expecting something special, like empty child or blink or even doctors daughter...i predicted
the wedding
the fact that the chick in the police uniform was amelia
the fact that the tardis would take him too far in time

also, the cocnlusion was a bit wishy washy, as if they wouldn't get eaten!

So far I have loved the new season! Matt Smith is doing a brilliant job!

Any theories on what the cracks mean? In the first episode it was how that creepy prisoner 0 escaped, the second it was a crack on the ships hull above the starwhale and then it was a crack in the wall behind the TARDIS?

I LOVE the new season but Matt Smith isn't as good as David Tennant. Gosh i miss him

Hmm the cracks in the walls probably have something to do with Amy Pond
