Engineering is a varying field for pay... first year most engineers will get paid between $42,000-$50,000 and will continure to increase over the years and ranks in the business.

After 20 years in engineering and a higher rank... most people get paid around $200,000+. Go Engineers.

?!!??!?! $26,000 is NOTHING. It is only the bare necessities for life. You need to be making at least $40,000 a year in a decent sized city to live comfortably.... even then its hard. Most people will be paying of a mortgage and it is heaps these days...

I am aiming to get over $50,000 p/a within the first 3 years. High Hopes.

It's true. My brother is a mechatronic person and he's only making an average of about $60/day, $70 on a good day.
