Section 1: WHAT THE HELL? Text 3 needs to die.
Section 2: okay.
Section 3: easy.

AND IT DIDN'T HELP that our supervisor wrote "ENGISH" instead of "ENGLISH" on the board. I kept looking at it and laughing.

No more Journey's. Wooooooot!

but anyway. I thought it was alright. Text 3 sucked. I answered its questions reasonably well.

Expected:
11/15
11/15
12/15

If i managed to pull that off i'd be happy.

Section 1: pretty hard (9/15)
Section 2: I couldn't really adapt my story to the question (7/15)
Section 3: pretty good (12/15)

All up = 28/45 = 62% = SHIT

Comp: hardest part of paper, got 11 in trials expecting same (7 pages)
Creative: my 'A range' response fitted pro. 12+ (just over 7 pages)
Essay: easiest question ever for physical journies. 12+ (9.5 pages)

I agree with everyone.. wtf was text 3?
Section 1 - 5.5 pgs
i guess i did okay.. the last question i didn't really compare that well because i rushing to start section 3.. dont think i answered the writer's use of contrast question well either :( oh well.

Section 2 - creative - 6.5pgs
made up the biggest bull about childhood memories.. i might have taken some of gwen harwood's ideas lmao..

Section 3 - 15 pgs lol my writing was quite massive though due to rushing.
was so relieved it was an essay type response.. adapted my essay to to the question well so yay.

I actually didn't mind the first section...
It was heaps easier than our trials, which I got 10/15 for, so i'm expecting a bit more. :)
2nd section - easy. I know you should never use a prepared response, but mine fit perfectly.
3rd - ARRGHHH. unexpected detours? I just argued against it. I HATED that question. Really wasn't expecting it.

I'm just glad it's overrrrr!!!!!!!!
:D

Text 3 was pretty difficult to understand. But I basically splitted the text up into I think 3 sections. Each one describing his journey and what he 'realised'. The 'compare the perspectives' was pretty difficult I felt, since the ideas on journey were pretty ambiguous in some areas.

The supervisors freaked the hell out of me, telling us to stop when we infact had 5 minutes remaining. Later she apologised :)

LOL!

Yeah text three was just fucked. I made up alot of bullshit for that. Comp. was hardest. Creative would've been easy, but it serves me right for not preparing, and the essay fitted nicely with my essay too, 9 pages. =)

it hink that section one was heaps hard way harder than any previous ones
section 2 was ok cause i cauld fit a quote in nicely to my idea i wrote about in trial and i think section three was an easy question

but overall i ran out of time as usual

Hopefully if ppl are finding section 1 hard...then the markers will see a trend across the board and mark the section a little easier or something?

Section 1: Argh, text 3!
Section 2: It wasn't too bad, it could've been a lot worse.
Section 3: Didn't like the question at all. "Unexpected detours?"
