I did okay I guess. I've been suffering from depression from a while now, but thankfully things look up. I really thought that I stuffed up the half yearlies big time, and was just hoping to get around 70s, 80s, but I guess I exceeded my expectations.
English: 20/20 (Rank: 1) - Teachers were really angry about this one. Next top mark was 18, 17, 16...
EE1: Yet to receive.
EE2 Viva Voce: 19/20 (Rank: 1)
Modern History: 49/50 (Rank: 1) Lost a mark in WWI.
Extension History: :help: 20/25 (Rank: 4)
Chemistry: 61.5/70 (Rank: 5?)
Chemistry Research Task: 33/38 (Rank is around 5 too)
Mathematics: 117/120 (Rank: 1)
Mathematics Ext: 66/84 (Rank: 11?) Average was around 47/84. Cumulatively, I'm coming around 7th or 8th in it.
Overall, I did alright. Chemistry and 3U maths could have been better, I guess. But I'm not complaining. They're better than I expected, especially since I'm surrounded by all these dazzlingly bright selective kids lol.
I'll be sure to learn from the experience though. I dunno - I came out of the 3U maths exam crying and being all over the place because I didn't think I'd do well in the half yearlies, but I guess the real reason was because of some really troubling times at home that I've got off my chest now.
Does anyone think I have a good shot at a UAI around 99.5? I go to a selective school in the top fifty, and my weakest subject (3U maths) usually yields some good results (the top forty or so get top band, out of around 100 students).
Screw you HSC, and congratulations everybody.
