Isn't it true that the trial papers are harder than the actual HSC?
Yes, unless you are doing a really dodgy trial paper :p
The trials are designed to be harder than the actual HSC. This is because teachers want students to be prepared for the HSC. I.e. it's basically giving them a mind set of "study or you will fail." And it works because I doubt students would study any harder if they found the trial easier.

But thats just how our business teacher explained it to us..

That's exactly how it was explained to me by everyone XD

And it is very true - the 2U CSSA trial was mega hard compared to the HSC ^^

And is it true that the majority of trial papers from catholic papers reflect a lot of what is actually in the HSC?
The Trial HSC are intended to be a preparation and 'replica' (but a fair bit harder just to scare the students) for the actual HSC. If the trials are nothing like the past papers that many of you have been/should be doing then your school needs to fix up their exams.

And yes, I have started studying for my 2/3U maths exams... not a great deal of study because one subject (3units) over and over does get a little tedious. :D

Nope, messed around first week and only just starting my first assignment out of 3 and a major work.

No time. I'll cram as much as possible for trials, don't really care about my trial results. I'll start proper study for the actual HSC.

I'm feeling pretty fucked for English.
Haven't finished my Module A generic essay (Pride and Prejudice/Letters to Alice)
Haven't started Module B generic essay (Hamlet) - though my sister told my that Mod B always has really specific questions, with which generic essays are useless. This did not increase my confidence.
Haven't found a second choice-text for Module C (Wag the Dog).
Not even thinking about AOS. I vaguely remember having done essays for it at one point.

I always say I'll leave English past papers till last, because I hate them, but then I never end up doing them, because I hate them.
