Most hornsby students i know are planning to study full on in the holidays. this is the time where you become perfect at everything u did in yr 11 and go ahead in yr 12 topics.

Forgive me if i sound retardedly nerdy, but competition is increasing, and most of our grade wants to get like 95+

lol, you two go to the same school dont u? tech?

anyways, theres no need to study that much, do bit of both (study and have fun)
tech dropped 24 ranks in 2 years.. hmmm. I think we all should "relax".

lol yeah, i was only joking about the 7-10 hours, there are 24 hours in a day and we sleep for 8, which leaves 16 hours to study.

JOKES! 15 is acceptable..DOUBLE JOKES!. yeah study in moderation, do something like 5 hours a day ( school is 6 hours and you normally do your 3-4 hours after school)

HSC 2009
2U Maths- 96
Ext1- 47/50
Bio-88
HSC 2010
4U Maths (might drop) + Economics + 3U English + Visual Arts

Just curious, are u doing pathways, or are u just insanely smart and accelerating 3 subjects?

her profile says that she accelerated. hence she doesn't need to study the mandatory 7-10 hours, she only need to so 1-3 :D

Honestly dude, i'm gonna try to study these holidays too, but what i'm going to do is read out of my textbooks and write notes, try to memorize the notes and content and do some questions. I'm going to revise all the maths i have done, read over all the electives im doing because to get a competitive edge you need to do stuff.

All the best

We didn't have assessments for some subjects so i didn't do any work for them in term 4, just focused on assessment tasks; So i will be doing a bit of catching up.

I'd recommend catching up (and reading your texts), but I doubt you should be spending your summer holidays studying ahead...
