American Beauty.

My bet: It started off as a porn, got screwed up along the way, and then decided to go with a non-linear plot which I find annoying.

No way. American Beauty is an amazing movie! When I first watched it it was a bit WTF. But on second viewing I realized how clever and funny it was.

End of week. Today I had to come to school moderately early to finish off an assessment we were supposed to do.
Had ENS first. We were doing communication on the name of things and all. Was not paying attention as I was finishing of my assessment. ><"
English. Gosh he picked us first. Is it a coincidence for the past 2 discussions I had to give, I was either first or in the first group. Oh i don't know. It went for about 17 minutes. LOL. It was only supposed to be for like 6, but we went a little overboard - and so the other group. :) So yeah, we only got through 2 groups when he expected to go through all 5. Whoops.
Double IPT. Had an exam. Did not get time to study at all as I worried about english. I think I went fine, I mean 40 MCQ. =]
Maths. Done 1 question only. Oh I feel so bad without a teacher to be an authoritive figure and teach us. I so fail maths.
Physics. We had a little chat outside of class. Well the teacher did. About what they saw on tv and theorys and all. We got our exams back. I'm actually quite happy with my mark. 30.5/36. Although I thought it was relatively easy and that full marks were possible, it didnt happen. Ranked 4th or so I think. =] Thats all. I'm sick. Shall do some work, study and tutor work.

Came to school at 12 today for our English Speeches. I hope I did all right. I didn't refer to my palm cards at any time =D

Fuck that. Palm cards ftmfw. If I can get 100% for an English Extension speech by reading from palmcards, I think they should be used more often than not. Not using palmcards is risky as fuck.

That said, well done for knowing your speech so well.

And suggestions noted. Thanks.
No problems.:)
I don't really have a valid opinion, though.:p

Hahaha...

Currently reading the Wikipedia entry; my mind is blown away by the spoiler. Also, I find the film somewhat disturbing, and yet comical.

Hahaha, "Look at me, jerking off in the shower... This will be the high point of my day; it's all downhill from here." (Lester Burnham).

Frank Fitts: Where's your wife?
Lester Burnham: Uh, I dunno. Probably out fucking that dorky, prince-of-real-estate asshole. And you know what? I don't care.
FF: Your wife is with another man and you don't care?
LB: Nope. Our marriage is just for show. A commercial for how normal we are when we're anything but.

Of course, watching American Beauty is merely for completing the Prelim Advanced English course; I'm expecting five or so essays on it (and Gatsby).

3 period day today.
Were you affected by the Luna Park excursion? What did you miss? (I only had one free, Biology. The pe'eps left after first period, and I had Chem first; and Mr. K. - the Phys teacher - was there, as this year he doesn't have a Yr10 class.)

Anyway, I spent most of the day kooked up in the library, an empty classroom, or the hallway, doing work/studying.

Today (Saturday) -- (representative) sport.

maths, average.
double english was longgggg, god I miss the days when english was in graded classes. We have to go through every second line of Othello and explain what it means.
And english extension, where we were meant to be working on the library computers, but we just played the wikipedia link game for an hour =]

Well an alright day for me.

Got back:

Physics Assesment Task 1 - I got 19 out of 40, but I'm getting (hoepfully) about 4 more marks. Compared to the class I did alright. Our class highest was 27, while the highest in the grade was 32.

Maths Advance - 77% (which is about 6th in class). I wasn't happy about that. I should've studied more.

Maths Extension - 72% coming 3rd in class. Wasn't happy that either.

Economics - I got 57 out of 75 (I think I'm currently 3rd). Could've done better.

And on top of that one of my friends got school captain. :D

Not bad. Found out our English teacher will be on maternity (can't spell) leave and will be getting a new teacher for Term 4 - Year 12. I dunno whether this is a good thing or not. :(

Umm, you got to the bottom of the page. On the left hand side, you should see "New Threads" - click on it. :D
