I'm droppping music, even though my average is in the high 90's, I only chose it to make up the 12 units. I'd rather concentrate my studies on the more academic subjects. My music teacher says that he won't let me drop it that easily, considering that he will guarantee in guiding me to get a band 6 throughout the hsc, but i'm just not interested.

^I'm going to have to compete with you in bio and chem... :D

Preliminary:
3U Maths
2U English
Physics
Chemistry
Economics
Legal Studies

HSC:
4U Maths
2U English
Physics
Chemistry
Economics

Reasons: I'm good at Maths, so I extended. So, as a consequence I needed (to preserve my sanity) to cut down to 12 Units and there was a toss-up between Legal and Eco. Eco seemed more practical (for life skills), so that's that. I was actually good at Legal and there was no reason to drop it except for the fact I extended Maths.

Whoa, your subjects are exactly the same as mine! Cept im not doing history extension, 12 units is enough for me. We haven't got our forms yet, but ive already decided.

Anyway, Im doing
Prelim:
3u Maths
3u English
Bio
Chem
Modern

HSC:
2u maths
4u English
Bio
Chem
Modern

Ive dropped ext maths because I found that I was falling behind not only in ext but also in 2u because we were sacrificing 2u time to do 3u work. Every 2u assesment Ive gotten in the 70's. For the half yearlies I said 'screw ext, Im focusing on 2u and i came first with 98%.

Im taking up 4u english because I love english and creative writing. I used to be a really good at creative writing and have a real passion for it, and Im hoping to regain that. But at the moment my writing skills suck big time so I hope they will improve.

dropping business studies because it's extremely boring, but easy, making it a great prelim bludge subject. :) the same applies to religion.
I have the exact same combination of subjects!:) Just a warning, lots of students drop history ext for some reason but yea, GO U! for choosing it:D:D
