yeah i would 100% recommend going to a local gp or even an obstetrician. it makes your irp so much better with extra methodologies especially if its a professional. it increases its reliability and validity ;)
i personally did 3 interviews, conducted an observation and questionnaired individuals.

I totally agree with posessionless, if you have the time definately get some observations and questionnaires from professionals in the area of your IRP. It supports the research that you have done and allows you to write an informed statement at the end and to tabulate results easier. :)

PS> Don't worry, I thought that I was the only one posting in a thread last year for science. Eventually, another person who had done the prac was able to give me some very helpful advice.

I'm doing attending childcare affects the socialisation process of children and bonding with parents. I have done my plan, handed out surveys and some secondary research but i'm stuck on how to start my literature review! How much info should you have before starting it? It's due 12/02/2010.

Haii Guys
I am really struggling with deciding on a question/statement. I want to relate it to foster care as my family is involved in foster care, but I don't know how to put it. Any help would be appreciated...Cheers x x

You should have a fair amount before you start writing your literature review. You need to basically summarize the key points, facts and statistics writing up why the person conducted their tests as it will later help you write about proving or disproving your hypothesis. There are examples of previous IRPs underneath the resources section on this site.

Remember its quality not quantity. From memory you should be aiming at around 20-30 pages max.
