Lynn attempts to mediate, saying that no-one needs to change their avatars, and so long as all participants are able to debate in a mature fashion without resorting to name-calling, then all is good. Not all humans think alike - we are entitled to our own opinions, as Lynn is sure Marcus Katie and Evan know - and Lynn believes everyone is mature enough to keep everything under control...

Actually, Marcus loves etymology - he even made a thread about the origins and development of the English language within the Indo-European language family. Marcus would be quite interested in Evan's understanding of the origins of English words.

Haha, Marcus doesn't give a stuff about rep anymore.
If Marcus were to apply for his dual citizenship, as per Greece's importation, then he would be pleasantly conscripted into the Greek army for three years.

Evan managed to teach himself a crude literacy in ancient greek but was utterly unable to pronounce any of it.

There is a fair amount of debate about how Ancient Greek is meant to be pronounced. Marcus thinks that modern Greek - Demotiki (not the Katheravousa form), should be the guide.
