Marcus studied that movie for Ext1. He has seen it the whole way through (this is not hyperbolic) at least ten times. He loves it, but can't bear to watch it again. He will perhaps just watch the scenes where Arwen gives the Nazgul a wash, where Gandalf gives the Balrog a talking to, and where Galadriel gets really scary.

Marcus misses having cute little puppies around. Instead he has two Maltese Terrors, one disproportionately fat, the other like Dr. Jekkyl and Mr. Hyde.

Marcus is just joking. He loves his dogs! They are so cute!!

Justin has grown incredibly attached to his pups, and will be devestated when they go to their new homes in 20 days time.

Marcus realises how stupid "Arwen giving the nazgul a wash" would sound out of context. He has a weird image in his head of Arwen scrubbing them down with a bucket of warm water.

Alan discovers that Marcus is - nay, was, doing speculative fiction, and now he knows he has someone worthwhile against him in gaining top marks.

Marcus understands. He felt the same way when he had to give kittens away. Marcus thought that Justin was keeping one, though.

Marcus revives Alan. He then tells him that he got 49/50 for Ext 1. Alan dies again.

LOL this was the idea Lynn got when Marcus said "Arwen giving the Nazgul a wash".

Lynn has never had to give animals away but once sold 3 pairs of old tap shoes for charity and bawled her eyes out for an entire hour afterwards. Lynn kept a pair though.

Lynn cannot imagine the pain felt at giving away something you have loved for an extended length of time.

Lynn hopes so. She still gets very sad when she thinks about them being taken away, even if it was for charity. She wonders if there is a tap-shoe-heaven. Lynn remarks that she is a very emotional and sentimental person.

Justin believes that if Lynn loved her tap shoes, she did the right thing in setting them free.

But Lynn is not sure where they are now, whether they are being abused or whether they have been torn apart. She did not know the woman who bought shoes (although Lynn had sneaking suspicion that she would not cherish shoes quite as much as Lynn would).

Lynn has since kept ALL her old dancing shoes.

At times like this, Alan feels very masculine.

Lynn raises an eyebrow.

Marcus believes that there is a heaven for all things that have a soul
Marcus urges Lynn to be proud of her empathy and her sentiments.

Justin assures Lynn that she will have to have faith, and trust in the power of that powerful thing that other people trust.

Marcus was only saying what he feels to be true. He hopes it has helped Lynn.

Justin believes that no thanks are needed.

Lynn says it has, and that she is now able to put her fears about fate of tap shoes to rest.

Moving onto a more positive note: When is Marcus' last exam?
