yeh some israelis are realising now, this was the wrong move, their now investigating olmarts actions.
That un force really needs to be deployed as soon as possible. we wouldnt want a repeat of the 2000 withdrawal, but of coarse israelis realise this, and there moving out slowly. However i wouldnt be surprised if they tear down some more houses out of desperation, because really, if this is the end, why did over 150 israelis and 1000 lebanese die, hezbolah is stronger then ever. USA and Israelis attempt to pave the way for a Iran invasion failed.

John Howard is right in demanding that Hizbollah must be disarmed. Thats the only way there will be lasting peace between the two countries.

I am celebrating Israeli Victory against terrorist :D

Lebanon is a democratic country. I don't think it matters what religion or cultual background you are from. The attacks are obvious violations of human rights, they're also weakly justifying attacks especially the most unjustifiable of them all, an attack in Qana.

That girls Brigitte has a right to believe what she wants too, I've met a person or two equally stupid. (All religions and races have people which are mentally defficient.
In order to be a proper state you must maintain a monopoly on force and be able to control militia armies within your borders. Lebanon cannot.

Hizbollah stronger than ever?

How can they be stronger than ever when most of their weapon stockpiles are destroyed and lost 400+ fighters and pushed out of the territory they ruled and their leader Nasrallah have to hide inside iranian Embassy :D

They probably learnt a lesson, kidnap an Israeli soldier or have another 1000 lebanese killed again? The choice is theirs.

If Hezbollah are to disband, should there be disagreement with Israel, what's to stop another organisation from forming to confront Israel again? Should all organisations be pulled into line and disbanded, will Israel compensate Lebanon for the destruction they've caused? Will Hezbollah be accountable for their participation in this conflict?

I think he meant support wise not militarily and he is oh so right. You are a fool and a half if you think Hezbollah have been defeated - far from it.

400+ fighters (dont know where u got his figure) - they greater numbers in support now than they had before.

Nasrallah - like all terrorist leaders know the importance of stayin alive -lol

they kidnapped 2 soldiers - israel havent got them back. Israel north has been slightly damaged a few rockets..
hezbollah dont care about how many dead lebanese? they only care about how many dead israelis?

i think u dont realise hezbollah is a terrorist organistion.

Yes, Lord President Bush said so. :D

WASHINGTON Aug 14, 2006 (AP)— President Bush, just hours after a cease-fire took hold Monday, said Hezbollah guerillas had suffered a sound defeat at the hands of Israel in their monthlong Mideast war.

"There's going to be a new power in the south of Lebanon," Bush said, referring to plans for the Lebanese government, backed by an international force, to reassert control in the area that has been dominated by Hezbollah fighters.

The president also said the war was part of a broader struggle between freedom and terror, and he blamed Iran and Syria for fomenting the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.

"We can only imagine how much more dangerous this conflict would be if Iran had the nuclear weapon it seeks," the president said.

Lets see,

Hezbollah are not disarmed

The 2 Israeli soldiers are not returned, and Israel have to withdraw

While discussions of a prisoner exchange will take place, and calls for the Shebaa farms issue to be resolved. Which is what Hezbollah wanted.

Any idiot can see Israel lost this war, they got humiliated actually.

Even Israelis can see that they lost the war

Hezbollah are not disarmed:

That is why they are sending 15000 Un force with the power and courage to shoot

The 2 Israeli soldiers are not returned, and Israel have to withdraw:

Israel never intended to occupy Lebanon, it only want it soldiers back and remove hizbollah from the territories they occupied from lebanon. They are more than happy to be able to leave that hell hole.

While discussions of a prisoner exchange will take place, and calls for the Shebaa farms issue to be resolved. Which is what Hezbollah wanted.

Shebaa Farms were never Lebanese Territory according to UN, it originally belongs to Syria and the return of Shebaa Farms will be a matter between Israel and Syria not Hizbollah nor Lebanon

Any idiot can see Israel lost this war, they got humiliated actually.

You killed 1000 enemies which includes 500+ terrorists and lost only 117 troops its a good deal for israel. The killing rate is in fact , out of every 1 israeli dead, 10 lebanese are dead :D

Even Israelis can see that they lost the war

Their main aim may not be immediately achieved but Hizbollah will never rule south Lebanon again which is what Israel wanted.

When you are driven out of your territory and lost 500 men plus another 600 civillians and never reached an inch inside enemy territory, how exactly did you win the war ?

Just like Israeli Arab wars in the past, where Israel Seized Sinai from Egypt and Golan heights from Syria still those two countries claimed victory. How can you still be victorious when you lost half of your soldiers, lost territory almost the size of Tasmania and lost almost all of your airforce lol.

Those arabs are probably cheering for the death of their 600 civillians!

Do you really think they killed '500' people from hezbollah? Is it's great to see that 700 women and children which were killed in this war are Israel's enemies? The Jewish people must love the death of these 1000 enemies (800 of which were civilians), Lebanese civilians are there enemies right? Jews came in and achieved what they wanted to the death of Lebanese civilians.

It's great to see that the jews are quick to celebrate their victory over Lebanon, because Israel is the bully of the middle east. I think not that the jewish Israelis would want to be hated world wide again, do they?

But, you won right? Go celebrate to the rise in hatred of your race.
