ALSO GUYS do you write out your media articles??? like the tittles, its such a waste of time so ive never done it but ive actually lost marks because of it??

yesss do it my teacher said its good bc the marker doesnt properly read ur essay so if u have alot of lcmid it "looks good"...

You can make up a title, usually i just do (SMH, 2024) but if thats not good just do ('Why youth crime is still rising', SMH, 2024)

if it does come up and that is very unlikely just do media --> law reform for each section of the syllabus. for instance:
- crim. inv. proc. - media on molly tice hurst --> reform non legal response is good. non legal response bad: inherent enforcability issues and dv is still rising

- trial proc - teachers pet podcast

- sentencing process - Rv loveridge 2013 media coverage --> law reform etc etc

i am SO cooked if its holistic law reform (only rlly for consumers) - ive memorised like 20 essays for everything in family and consumers BUT law reform specifically - i think i can mash stuff together but it would be more so an essay on the contemporary issues....

i have a feeling consumer essays could be something broad + hopefully a contemporary issue that isnt redress and remedies
and family i feel like it could be same-sex because of recent reforms esp with the LGBTQIA+ amendment act that recently passed
or even credit for consumers because of BNPL reforms

there was a kind of holistic equality legislation amendment (LGBTQIA+) act 2024 that amended a bunch of laws so it is pretty contemporary and relevant and they might pick it because of that

this is how i did it

1. defacto relationships + property rights
2. marriage equality
3. surrogacy and birth technology access
4. protections for participation in civil life (visa + sponsorships, defacto relationship recognition for family welfare benefits and welfare eligibilty and means testing)
