looking at past 15/15 responses they dont mind if u have small like 1/2 page paragraphs so is there any way u could split ur paragraphs into smaller ones? and slightly change their topic e.g. para 1 - positive para 2 negative/ineffective? so then u have 4 smaller paragraphs and it just looks like u have more?
PLS U SEEM LIKE U KNOW ALOT
FOR SOMEONE THAT HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ON INTERNATIONAL CRIME AS OF YET
WHATS A STRUCTURE U RECCOMEND? WITH WHIHC DOT POINTS
PLEASE MY MOM IS KINDA HOMELESS

okk, but how many paras is the response?

like intro
Afp
icc
conclusion

is there another one
personally, in my practice i did intro, list a transnational crime and states its domestic + international response, another crime and states its dom + int response, then adhoc courts and tribunals for a crime against int community (ONLY IF U WANT) or switch it out with NGOs crimes against intl community, then conclusion

I will also note you can do 2 paragraphs for Crime they just have to be super detailed. I've done this in all my Crime essays ever and I also do 3 paras for Options and have consistently gotten 13-15/15 by doing that, although I think some questions do admittedly lend themselves better to 3 paras.

its all good! if u want a bit of inspo (not sure if its too late now or not lol) this is what i memorised:

intro ( u HAVE to state to which extent if its an extent question, and give ur evaluation. eg. somewhat effective, very effective, not effective, etc).

bp1 - operation iron + operation lionfish (transnational), dom + international

bp2 - human trafficking for the purposes of slavery (transnational), dom + international

bp3 (this is a smaller para) - adhoc courts and tribunals (ICTR + ICC for crimes against intl comm) OR NGOs for Darfur in Sudan (crimes against intl comm)

conclusion - The effectiveness of the legal system in addressing (QUESTION) is constrained by jurisdictional intricacies and state sovereignty. While agencies collaborate to display responsiveness, international measures face challenges in enforcement due to the absence of a globally enforceable framework. However, progress is observed in the ratification of international conventions to domestically combat crimes like _____. Society's imperative for safety and justice is somewhat met through ongoing efforts to enhance the legal system's effectiveness in addressing global offences (narrow down).

make them up on the spot! markers will never search up news articles or journal posts
I second this. They really dont… my teacher (he has produced a couple SR at my school over the years) said the hsc markers read your essay a lot less than you’d think… it’s best to have a strong intro and lots of underlined lcmid as well as many pages

Whenever someone makes this statement, it never works in our favour 🥲

see it feels like it should be easy but then 3/4 options are correct but one is just the most correct like fml
okay I relate to this and the short answers on a spiritual level bc SOR is similarly finicky, but 3 essays on top of that is torture
