Voting for the Greens is nearly as bad as voting for the Coalition against Climate Change. These one policy parties may feel they "specialise" rather spectacularly in their own field, but couple that with the rest of the runnings of a country and you're stuffed.

Liberal or Labor: let's keep it serious. (The first is preferable! Haha)

The Greens are leftist nutters: any I encountered during the campaign were rude. On election day, I had one tell me that I should be put in the line to be shot. turnbull's only problem as leader would be that he may be perceived as arrogant. That's why he may need a bit more time than rudd's 11 months as leader of the opposition. i guess you could say rudd is a millionnaire as well, but he had the humble beginnings story. compare that to turnbull with his private school and investment banking background and even though theyre both rich today, the everyday person would probably admire rudd more.

but, this is probably only a small hurdle. i think ppl will see turnbull as a more natural leader, and he probably wont embarrass himself by singing on radio like nelson did. maybe theyre keeping nelson on longer so that by comparison, even tony abbott would look like a better leader.

Thing is that Turnbull actually worked for his millions, Rudd just married a hideously ugly rich woman.

no, she made her money after they were married, and i wouldnt consider her to be hideously ugly either (e.g. compare with lucy turnbull). also, the rudds as a whole seem to be smart investors. aren't the gains they have made through their share portfolios as worthy as turnbull's earnings as an investment banker?

I didn't say they weren't. I just think that you're more worthy of the 'rich arsehole' tag if you have your money because of someone else's hardwork rather than your own.

I used to think that Lucy Turnbull was a bit of alright, but yes, she's become much more square and muscular in recent years.
Mrs PM has a pretty cute face. I like how they compliment eachother in dentist smiles and softness

I believe that Dr Nelson is not living up to his expectation as the poll is indicating. He will never beat Mr Rudd at this rate.

I strongly support more experienced & popular MPs such as Mr Turnbull or Mr Costello as they prove to be more experienced in political fields and they are also more popular. Dr Nelson is not really someone who we can relate to as he has been an undercover MP for a long time.

Nelson really has not been an undercover MP. He had quite a high profile as President of the AMA, then as Education Minister he relished opportunities to travel across the nation to comemorate the instilation of flag poles for the Australian flag at schools etc, so exposure to the media and the electorate is not something he is lacking.

For the faults some people see in him, I think that a large reason why he is not doing so well in the polls is because he has run into Kevin Rudd at the height of his popularity. Aside from a few things he has done, Rudd is perceived by the wider electorate to have not yet put a foot wrong. However, times will change, honeymoons will finish, that is when the Coalition must make ground, whoever the leader maybe.
