You can always do MATH1131, it's basically the same course but with less in-depth problems. Unless for some reason you absolutely must do 1141, 1131 should suffice.

I've always told my mum to F-off. I enrolled in 1131 but i suddenly a time slot for 1141 came and i enrolled in it =_=
But really the HSC was an exception because of no/shit teacher + many other things (I'm not finding excuse).
With someone actually showing me stuff I learn quite rapidly, which is evident because when I was in HK I was the best in maths..........

You should totally give that slot to me :'(

yeah they always do that for the first year subjects, or generic subjects that are part of multiple degrees.
just inform the lecturer, most likely there will be many others in the same situation.

If you are doing Adv Maths, the School of Maths will try to squeeze you in. If a new slot doesn't open up, visit or email the first year maths office (fy.MathsStats @ unsw....) and they'll probably override the system for you.
