Did anyone else feel like the 2u Mathematics course was scaled up significantly? Apparently I got 70/100 for my exam mark (I know its terribad), but I literally did not answer about 40 percent of the test (q6+), and I was guessing for about at least a further 10 marks (most of q5). So if they say I got 70, some extreme scaling must have been going on.

Anybody else feel this way about the Mathematics course?

I agree with your idea of extreme scaling!
That exam was heaps hard to my memory, and I didn't even expect above 80, but it turned out I got 90 on the dot

I wonder what happened :O

Got 96 externally, probably got 110-114. 2u maths scales pretty well at both ends of the spectrum. BOS doesn't like giving people low marks cos it makes them look bad, which is awesome for us =)

It's not scaling - that happens with the ATAR. You mean aligning. It just means they believed the exam was hard and thus a lower raw mark than usual corresponded to the higher bands.
