i got overall score 60 (91st percentile), and got told my predicted atar was very VERY high 98 (we don't get told the exact atar at our school but the 'very' was definitely stressed)
the table says umat 59 - atar 99.0
since i got 60, that should mean my atar would have been pretty much spot on but i now have a feeling i got 98 circled on my form instead of rounding it up. dayummm

time to pray for second round offers!

Hmm, wtf? As if 60 and 98.8~, loses to me? I got 56 and 99.8, and I got an interview? How does that work? =\

Stop being so daft. There is no such thing as a 99.8 prediction, considering the UNSW application form increases in increments of 1. So you either got 99, 100, or both were circled, indicating 99.5.

I guess the only way I got an interview with 80th percentile is because my estimate of 99.8 rounded up to 100.

My sister is a university student looking to transfer to unsw med. Her NSW UAI was 99.00, her GPA is 6.25, and UMAT overall score of 61 (percentile 93). I don't understand why she didn't get an interview.... The UMAT overall score cut-off for a UAI of 99.00 is 59, and I'm pretty sure that after 50:50 UAI:GPA it would pull 99.00 up...
