My actual uai was 84.90

I'm not sure if I'm happy or not... I told myself I would be happy with anything over 85, but I just missed out... I guess its ok... At least im in the top 16% of the state...

Congrats all you who got 90+ thats awesome!

wow i didn't think anyone really knew how the UAC did the scaling but SAM did an awesome job predicting mine and judging by other ppl's posts it's generally awesome.

G'day, as usual.

I was hoping to do a teaching and english degree, but needed at least 80.

I got 75.05, which is interesting since I had four Band 4s and two Band 5s.

I can still, hopefully, do an english degree but not the teaching one. If I get the former, I can simply do a Diploma of Education afterwards.

Either way, doesn't matter. I actually intend to become a famous author, which is requires imagination, not education (though the latter is a help).

Let me guess you wanted Newcastle BA Teaching (Arts)? That's what I wanted, and was thinking I wwouldn't get it... but I got the UAI and a little more and i'm so annoyed that so many people didn't get the marks --- i'd gladly trade my UAI down to 77 (then get the 4 extra points) if just a few others could get into the course! My uai was 83.55....

Well I hope that for your sake, the UAI goes down a little :) Then you can totally get in! Otherwise do arts, transfer to Teaching (Arts).. you may even be able to do it 2nd semester when people start dropping like flies

95.65! way more than expected :D... even after i got my marks i still thought maybe 94.5 if i was lucky. anyway SAM predicted 94.25 and thats a bit out of touch with others (since SAM seems to have one an awesomely accurate job overall) but i already made a thread bout that so yeah...happy! :)

Just curious, did anyone from 2006 HSC earn a 100 UAI without any Maths subjects counted in their calculation? That includes those who did Maths, but didn't need it for their scaled aggegrate.
I'd say so... not like maths is the only high scaling subject... besides, 2u maths isn't that great for scaling...
