dw Powlmao, once you get into Uni and get that 99.95 ATAR, im sure you'll become very popular then. You can "help" those girls who are struggling with homework at Uni =)

But i get what the teacher is getting at. People say (well the teachers, students and friends I know) tell me that its good to have a balance life style during HSC, like playing sport - which could like release stress. (Or you can just wank like how most guys i know, do =P )

LOOOL But yeah just get that 99.95 and prove everyone wrong =)

Then pushing yourself too hard is probably not the best idea - you will kick yourself in the first few weeks of university. By all means put in a good effort, but dont put too much pressure on yourself.

I'm only 1-2 marks off first place in all my subjects. So far we have only done the equilivent of 15% for each.

During those tests I was mentally drained because I don't have a balance.

I guess I need to toughen up and study more.



The biggest problem is I have no self confidence and a really bad self image. So I am too scared to approach people

I think you should get into a sport. I used to think not too great of myself so I took up swimming and played for school, clubs and etc. When you play sports, its a good way to release stress, look aesthetically better, and also helps boosts your self-esteem. Try it, it's pretty fun too.

Sadly I use to swim at a national level, I use to make state every year and nationals every now and then.

But I hated the competitive side of it, I was never fond of all that travel, swimming practice etc just for a few races. So I gave it up.

As he said, or just go in like local competitions. I mean its fun to beat people and thats one of the reasons you feel better about yoself.

So Im guessing you're shy and its not easy for shy people to "just talk" to people, I know. But friends give you confidence, even just one. You don't even have to make a friend in school, find one outside of school. If you see someone like you, alone, then approach them because you know how they feel being alone and they wouldn't mind company.

Studying so much and still not coming first is saying something, you need to refresh your mind by socialising.
