Business Studies - currently 71% - still awaiting for the extra marks from the tricky questions ;)

English Advanced - still waiting however teacher mentioned that she was disappointed with some of us :eek:

Mathematics - 60%

Society and Culture - 67%

Software Design and Development - still waiting but I'm dropping it anyway :cool:

Textiles and Design - still waiting...

Jamil: I was studying calculus the day before my maths test... and we hadn't even covered calculus. :p

It's year 11. It's pointless.

im doin pathways so i onli did 4 tests but i got:
physics: 95% (1/67)
d+t: 91%
English: 75%
MPIS (entension uni thingy): distiction (dont know mark but 1st / 28)
this is really a pretty lame forum, just an excuse 4 people 2 show off i think, but as someone said, its year 11, as long as all marks are over 50%, thats all that matters.

I know this thread was to post our results, but I only recieved Chemistry back today. And it was a shocker. I did expect it, but when you actually recieve it, its a lot more painful.

Haven't even covered calculus :eek:?
"Find the derivative of the function y=e^(xsin2x)"
y=e^(xsin2x)
lny=ln(e^(xsin2x))
lny=xsin2x
d/dx(lny)=d/dx(xsin2x)
y'/y=x'.sin2x+x.(sin2x)'=sin2x+2xcos2x
y'=(sin2x+2xcos2x)y
But since y=e^(sin2x),
y'=(sin2x+2xcos2x).e^(sin2x)

My class hasn't covered calculus; I have.

thats ok. You don't have to. I know, I agree with you, I don't think I'll be posting my English mark :eek:. But then again, at least you have a year to make up to it. I was a bit shocked when a very good, Christian friend of mine in maths did poorly in the exam when she ussually does well. It sometimes come unexpectedly :eek:

No. The last topic we did was locus and parabola.

My class mucks around heaps and doesn't take maths seriously. It's annoying.
