Protocols - accepting offers from different tertiary admission centres? (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,
I'm from interstate and will be applying to QTAC, UAC and VTAC. For QTAC, offers come out on 15 Jan 2015 and applicants must respond by 22 Jan 2015 10am. Meanwhile for UAC, first-round offers come out 21 Jan 2015 6pm and second-round offers come out 3 February 2015. My first preference is to study a particular course in USyd so my question is:
If I don't get offered my preferred course by UAC in the first round, I will accept whatever is offered by QTAC. If I do however get my preferred course in 2nd-round offers by USyd, is it possible/wrong/rude to decline the main-round offer by QTAC?
