Its really up to you, I was in a similar position..I wanted to change Bio to business studies...but i had a really interresting bio lesson XD...you have to give it time...Dw biology is like a notch up from yr 10 science...1 week is not enough to judge a subject IMO..because half the time, teachers a talking about how hard the subject is etc...doesn't matter where you go /which subject you choose, Its still going to be a lot of work to be done...

I was about to change to B.S. but decided to keep Bio, I'm going give it a try...Bio is a combination of skills, memorizing, and understanding. B.S. and legal studies is more of-- heaps of writing, memorizing, and more writing, and probably more orals.. lol...

Its up to you...but Give it a chance...Because what if you go to legal studies and don't like it...

good luck with whatever you do...

Modern History...
Yeah, it seems a bit boring, but then again, I'm probably going to drop it for a Distinction Course next year or else I'll be screwed with like 16 units if I don't.

Seriously, if you have ANY doubts about a subject, CHANGE!!!
I cannot advise this enough.
I thought that after a term of prelim chem it was too late to change out of it... but I really should have just done it, I regret it now x.X

but yea, 1 week is just not enough to experience what the subject has to offer...I mean I bet you didn't find out that chem was bad in 1 week...unless u hated it..-but then again why would u pick it if u hated it?

Hot Tip, kids:

Give it at LEAST another week before you change subjects. And ask former students about content and assignments. I found legal very dry, almost like year 10 history. And society and culture- my teacher taught to the test, which was infuriating. Get all the info you need on course content before changing.

In Year 12 I will be doing

Ext 2 English
Chem
Phys
Mod Hist-History Ext (prob drop)
Distinction Course (yet to be decided)

I will be completing Ext 2 Maths this year.

16 if I don't drop, so I should drop Mod Hist/Hist Ext

As of now, I am disliking Chemistry.
No, not because of the topic nor the work...It's the freaking teacher! He just blabs nonsensically and goes way off topic -_-
I'm not surprised that half the people resort to sleeping in class

Wow... Ruse? ;)

For me, I'm *so* dropping Physics, but I'll have to wait until next year (term 3 but w/e) since the only class I can trade into is Buisness and I dun wunna do that, silly timetable -.-
