And they're the only subjects I can compare, because I didn't do maths/history/geography.
Pretty spot on for English. Depressing drop in science, though it sort of follows the severe drop in my interest level. ;p

i improved a lot. just goes to show that doing subjects you like in the hsc makes a world of difference, i never looked back at maths and science, and that the sc can be zero indication of how you'll do in the future. it's become obsolete. mind you, i put pretty much zero effort in for half of my subjects because i knew i'd never do them again and i was way too aware that the sc counted for nothing.

No, I just think it's seriously that easy, that people can get good marks just by reading over the textbook in certain section, if that.
