Question 30 a)

did anyone get 26 hours?

Got that

b) iv)

was it any value greater than 300?
Also nothing less than 0. because the height has to remain at 30m to match the question.

Yep I got 26 hours and I said from 0 to -100 and 300 to 310 (I know now I should have just put 'greater than 300' jayq94

1x1x10x10 = 100. It was 1/100....Part 1 was right.

Sorry that was a typo, i meant 1/100

27. b) was the perimeter of the sector question

c) was that annoying scale question for the cities 75km apart

the perimetre question i did 13 + 13 + ( arc length formula with ø as 230 or ehat ever remained in the circle i dont have e paper here )

yes 15 cm for scale

Quite sure you got the perimeter question wrong. I think you did 230/360*pi*13 but then you have to add two lots of 13 because that previous calculation only does the circular part of the perimeter.

230/360 x 2pie x 13 +13+13 = 78.19 (2dp)

15 cm is correct

Perimeter of a circle - arc length formula

(2*pi*13) - (130/360 * 2*pi*13)

= 52. 16

you forgot the 26cm from the side of the sector.
