I love that I only lose 2% for handing my essay in on monday rather than friday. That's only like 1% of my final grade

Late work is penalised at the rate of 2% per weekday late and 2% per weekend late

Does that mean I'll lose 2 or 4%?

My Government subject only penalises 2% for essays that are a weekend late. It was due Friday and I handed it in on Monday.

unless they count friday when they realise at whatever time they collect them that yours isn't there

Its not a deterrant really. Especially since I already had 2 essays due that week. Something had to give .

I just realised one of the principal reasons I am looking forward to the break is so that I can have fun organising all my uni stuff into pretty neat folders and piles and shelves (again).
there's no point doing it atm might as well just let the chaos run free until after exams

god love the arts system, handed one of my assessments over 1 week late and still got in the 70's (which is pretty good for me considering i fail at education). e&b subs on the other hand have a 10mark penalty for 1 day (5marks per day after first day late). wtfbbq. fail.

ppl in lit+cin were handing their essays in and getting marks in the low 40's

made me feel better about my minimal effort and high pass
