wow, all you guys did so good.. while me on the otherhand did horrible.

English Std - 81
Business - 84
Ancient - 84
Biology - 80
Maths - 79

Does anyone know how many people would get band 5 in English? I'm so surprised with my english mark.
Around 9% get b5

Surprisingly quite a lot of people seem to have gotten b5s this year

Eng Adv - 97 exam mark?? But then 92 HSC mark? so first place in Adv Eng only got an 87 internal assessment mark? wow.

All your eng marks are like wtf bro.. you smashed externals, how could your internals be that poor.

I was tied with an idiot who could not construct proper sentences and also my cohort is not the best cohort in the state

Wait so your marks were this?

97/87 - 92 HSC mark
98/78 - 88 HSC mark (or the /50 equivalent)
96/84 - 90 HSC mark (or the /50 equivalent)

Where marks on the left = HSC mark / Assessment mark

+ For Extension, we have three students, out of which only 2 of them (including me) could be bothered learning.
Hence, we tied. However, the other girl bombed out bad and since the top two marks are averaged and the other guy could not be bothered studying, it dragged me drastically.

basically everything will scale you down drastically, since you're below that crucial band 5 point in your subjects. even standard english will scale you down. yeah l know the feeling :/
engineering will scale you down the most, probably to the 60's.

don't be surprised if you get something around 65-70
