okay...i know im in year 11 but i really want to know how far i am from my goal of getting >99.5 .... i didnt do really good, but am still confused on how im going.. does anyone think its possible for me to get >99.5 by the HSC with these ranks..?

Eng Advanced: Rank-65/254 , Mark: 71%

Mathematics : Rank -38/223 , Mark:85%

Chemistry: Rank -21/109, Mark: 81%

Business studies: Rank- 28/131 , Mark 81%

Economics (planning on dropping) : Rank* 34/88 , Mark: 61%

Physics : Rank, 24/94 , Mark: 75%

Mathematics (EXT1) (might drop): Rank, 45/120, Mark: 26/50

oh and my school is ranked 62 , if that makes a difference lol...

We have 100% of students do advanced english at my school, we don't even get the oprion of standard!

dont forget that UAI is a rank so it rlly depends on all of the other people in NSW an dhow well theyre doing

what does cths stand for, there is more than one school with that abrev.
lol...i typed it up in google and it only came up with one.....but anyway, its Cherrybrook Technology High School

To get a UAI like that, you probably want to be coming 1st or second (at most the top 5) in every subject.

and you're going to need to be getting equivalent to mid-high band 6's for each subject that will count in your UAI calculation. that'd be 90%

As has already been said, year 11 doesn't count. at all.
You'll need to know all your maths from year 11, but your actual year 11 marks dont count at all.

The fact you needed to ask if you were near a 99.5 with those marks makes me doubt your intelligence and thus your capability of getting such a mark, even with crazy amounts of study.

But, you can brute force study your way into a 95, any higher and you'll actually need to understand what you're talking about as well.

thats for HSC external mark right?...
technically yes, but internal marks are often a good indicator of how you're going. unless your school intentionally sets incredibly difficult assessments to segregate marks further
