I said the same thing to my GF's dad, i was about to take off and he stood in front of me, making me grab every leaver and killing the engine.

Him: Everytime you take off, you rev the shit out of the engine, dont do it, its only going to throw you off.

Me: Unlike your ford, my bike feels comfortable around 10K Revs, so if you dont mind, kindly get the hell out of the way.


Problem here is, if i stop at a stop sign/lights i have to keep revving the shit out of it to keep it alive.

Yeah I do that when I'm filtering, clutch in and rev here and there so people can hear me coming through. It also means when I get to the front people try to race me off the line.

Filtering is going through gaps in stopped traffic to 'filter' to the front

Splitting is when you 'split' gaps in moving traffic, I only do this if it is a 100% will make it thing lol
