There is no line in society, everybody does their own thing, unfortunately what they do is stupid, annoying and occasionally illegal. Except they're a stupid minority, most people either want or don't mind APEC being held in their city, its especially good for the local economy. If the hippies don't like it, let THEM go to island and protest, heck knows most people don't care or want to know about their stupid ill informed opinions, or preferably out of the country to a socialist paradise like Cuba ..

I'm not the only person "hating" this. It's not a popular thing in my office at the moment particularly with September looking to be fairly busy.

It's going to cause a lot of disruption for something that could be much better managed.

Canberra would be more logical, it's a less congested area out in the sticks. Less hotels, less protestors. I mean for fucks sake, it's the nations capital right?
