why do you believe sex is so special / sacred that you need to wait?

and why do you think it necessary to wait until after marriage, what changes after marriage and makes it right/acceptable/better/whatever that you can't have beforehand?
why do you have such a problem with it? people have different values and beliefs get over it

look purpose of marriage = children

sex = children therefore no sex before marriage

I suppose if you view the purpose of sex as a form of pleasure then there is little incentive to wait until after marriage. If however, you view its purpose as a way to have children then maybe there is some incentive to wait. There is of course the case of if you intend to have children before marriage which seems quite rare and seen as somewhat irrational in today's society (note this excludes unintended pregnancies and assumes marriage will eventually happen)...
