Meh, he was always going to be cleared, the incident was obviously in play - they just needed another angle to prove it I guess (Hall's lawyers obtained AFL footage that's different to the Ten's cameras)

Travis Gasper cleared as well for the Coast.

And yeah, I get flamed on the NRL thread just as much as you do here. It's quite the fun.

Interesting to see that even though Sydney are underdogs, on most tipping sites (OzTips springs to mind) Sydney have been tipped as clear favourites.

For the GF:

Expect to see
- scrappy, interrupted play with plenty of stoppages
- 10 swans around the ruck at any one time.
- 6-8 swans in defensive 50 at any one time.
-The Eagles to play man-on-man
-6-8 goals at half time. Then the game to open up.

For the swans to win they must at most opportunities get it down quick to hall and o'loughlan, by kicking it long and not pussyfooting around. They also must tag tightly on judd, kerr, embley and cousins, while also winning the ball themselves. They must zone-up at kick-ins and, yep, flooding when the eagles gain momentum in the second half.

Eagles by 21.
Cousins for Norm Smith medal.

Q1 - swans down by a few behinds
Q2 - swans down by about a goal
Q3 - very even but i'd say swans up
q4 - swans by 14 points

One key point for the Swans also is to stop Cox in the ruck - Jolly and Ball must prevent Cox from winning the rucks if the Swans wish to get the ball to O'Keefe, Schneider and co in the half forward line

Seems the odds have really changed after wednesday.
Wednesday it was around:
Sydney $2.10 vs West coast $1.90
Now it's sydney at $1.65 or something like that.

hahahahahhah how fucking corny is the WC song! It's like a cliched pop song, except gayer. 'We're the west coast eagles and we'll show you why'. HAHAHA

Big plunges on the swannies by the bandwagon melbourne and sydney public. Did anyone see the banner they ran through? It had some BS about two cities united in one team. I didn't see melbournians claiming the swans as their own when they weren't in the finals 4/5 yrs ago. Still, go the BLOODS! :p
Well they had to fill the stadium somehow to gain as much profit as they could. It was a good campaign for melbourne, even though I don't think you can compare South Melbourne and the Sydney Swans.
Any team that relocates to a new city, let alone state, is entirely different.
