I am 15 and had no work experience before starting at Broadmeadow, Newcastle a few months back. You'll be fine.tbohlsennswssrg said:I am going for a McDonalds(North Ryde Store, NSW) interview on Monday, what are the chances of me getting the job (I am 15, with no previous work experience)
Not all staff, but a few. Have you ever worked at McDonalds?JaredR said:The fact you can put a sentence together sets you apart from many already employed McDonalds staff. You have nothing to worry about.

hahahaha cut him a tiny bit of slack, he's probably nervous...erm said:christ dude it's fucking mcdonalds, not an interview for president.
How much do they pay 16-year-olds doing PT an hour? If I get the job, should I ask to be CASUAL instead? If I do a good job is there a chance of promotions?conics2008 said:dw you got the job.. maccs love young minds.. they wwill train you..
dont worry, you basically got the job =]
have fun earning money at a low rate..
Personally, if I'm going to work for a bigger Retailer (and trust me, I want to) then I'll need to get some solid work experience first. I'm aiming for ESPRIT, COUNTRY ROAD, and ROGER DAVID in the future, once I have a solid resume.Pacchiru said:why so serious?
it's only mcdonalds.
huh? why?KidneyLOL said:hahaha.
maccas is a good place to start off for a job i reckon.
i'm 16, casual and getting paid $9.80 per hour.
and theyre heaps flexible with the shifts.
Not sure of the rate, but you should ask for casual, basically no-one does PT except people doing traineeships who can't be casual. And yes, there is a very good chance you will be promoted. If you're keen to work, that sets you apart from most people, and you should be promoted fairly soon if you put the work inakrinis said:How much do they pay 16-year-olds doing PT an hour? Do you think trainee-ships are usual in Employment? Can I do one while working? And if I do decide to do a trainee-ship NOW, will I be able to finish a certificate by February?spence said:Not sure of the rate, but you should ask for casual, basically no-one does PT except people doing traineeships who can't be casual.
