True, but you wouldve finished 1 full-time load at least by the end of next year.

Well if he does it correctly he will finish ahead. Or he will start paying full fee for some of the extra courses (I'm not sure if they allow that, they might in which case I'll look into it if I cant double major in my science).

There are way too many 3rd year maths subjects to do all of them. Or even 2nd year maths subjects, unless all you do is maths.

I have to do something like 96cp of science units, and I've figured out if all I do is maths I can do 3 majors before fee paying kicks in.

In science, you can obtain your degree after completing 144cp uow. If you've completed at least 144cp, you must graduate unless you have dean's approval to stay on. This is because the government doesn't want to fund you on HECS more than it has to. However, if you pay full fee, they couldn't care less how many years you stay at uni.
