"It is understood the football fraternity is aware and shocked at the alleged incident... all the players involved are believed to be keen to see the matter kept under wraps."

The Daily Express, following a story yesterday from The Voice newspaper, reports that Steve McClaren is facing an off-the-field crisis after one of his players was accused of making a "deeply disparaging racial remark" toward a fellow England player.

For legal reasons the players concerned cannot be named but it is understood the incident is alleged to have taken place during a top-flight match in London. And, as the Express says, "such is the seriousness of the accusation that it threatens to eclipse all the other issues McClaren has had to endure in such a short space of time as England boss".

Well doin my bit to add to the Terry-King incident. Did King happen to just pull out of the England squad...?

Bunch of cheats Tottenham are. Zokora and Ghaly... Blackburn should have won it. Stunning Goal cancelled out by a shocking piece of sportsmanship.

Good come from behind win by Man United on the weekend. Rooney was all class. It leaves us 3 points ahead of Chelsea going into the big game. We also face Celtic in the Champions League...so an exciting week for United fans.

I feel like crying, such a bullshit result. Saha missed the late penalty which would've took us through, but he had to miss, before that he also had a clear one-on-one miss too, fuckin unbelievable. Now we must face off against Benfica again to qualify, but before that we must pick ourselves up by smashin the Scums on Sunday.

Bullshit freekick, clear dive. But great strike by Nakamura again, that's world class stuff.

After watching Lyon-Real this morning, it really hit me that despite all the big names they have Madrid can at time really struggle to go forward and Emerson isn't exactly known for being the most creative midfielder.

Carew really tore the defence to shreds, though everytime he touched the ball I expected the commentator to say something like "he has got great touch for a big man" or start comparing him to Crouch! :p

Tomorrows matches seem to be very even - I cant wait to see a strong Inter outfit (minus the recently injured Cruz) take on a very attacking Sporting Lisbon.

Why did Man Utd stutted so badly against Celtic? You know you are in trouble when you put on O'Shea to try and get level.

You really are struggling to make any sense. When Nakamura scores, I think it's fair to say he was the difference between the two teams.

As for Italy/Australia? The penalty was there, we lost, get over it.

What is there not to understand child?

Nakamura was the difference between the teams. No comprehende?

The way you say that sounds like supporting Melbourne is a bad thing. Top of the league and 12 points clear, where's your logic?
