Think of all the kids who miss out on getting a job now.it has soo many self serve checkouts (i read in the paper today that its the most in any store australia-wide.)
Where is it? Obviously its on St Georges Terrace, but what end?went to the new woolworths on st georges terrace in perth city today (its official opening was yesterday)
what an awesome store! - everything is so perfect and clean and new. it has soo many self serve checkouts (i read in the paper today that its the most in any store australia-wide.)
woolworths store format and 'look' is soo much more superior to coles. (went to a recently opened 'trial' store in claremont last month - although its an improvement it is sooo shite compared to woolies.)
I see. What's an underforce?jah, technically to satisfy audit requirements, you cant have any underforce on the roster grid report, not having a rostered supervisor would cause an underforce.
Lol and ah im in lithgow out west sorta lol 3-4ish hours from syd.Which woolies u work at?
I've been working at deli for 2-3years. hahaha. Gotta question, i'll answer it =]
its in the new 'enex100' development which is actually next to the BankWest Tower (so just east of William Street.) the development runs between Hay St Mall and StGeorges Terrace and woolworths is in the St Georges Terrace level.Where is it? Obviously its on St Georges Terrace, but what end?
that's quite far. hahaahLol and ah im in lithgow out west sorta lol 3-4ish hours from syd.
Yeah i was verbally abused by the area bakery specialist for taking 7 weeks of annual leave last year, over my HSC.I don't think that matters. They do expect you to devote 24.7 of your life to woolworths. If not, YOU FAIL AS A FRESH FOOD PERSON!
People Planner calculates the number of supervisors and operators requires based on the sales forecast for the current weekI see. What's an underforce?
I don't know about Woolworths, but if you've exhausted options by talking to the in-store people (store manager, etc) then try ringing Head Office HR, I know it's worked for some McDonalds people with bad bosses. I would assume that if Head Office HR say that you're right, the store leadership would get a bit of an earful.Fucking woolworths. Havn't payed me the 8 hours owed since i started and now they miss one week of my pay. Dodgy pricks, man wish i joined the union now.
I walk past this at least once a week, and I've never seen it. Although I went west at William Street today.its in the new 'enex100' development which is actually next to the BankWest Tower (so just east of William Street.) the development runs between Hay St Mall and StGeorges Terrace and woolworths is in the St Georges Terrace level.
I feel for you mate. My new store is crap too...I call it new I've been there for about 3 months now. Everyone acts like a robot, they don't talk to each other and they practically bow down to the manager. There was a vacancy for a 2IC produce which I was at my old store, I applied and they go and hire a French builder with absolutely no produce or management experience?!?!?! I don't understand them here.Gah! Hate my new store! Its so busy all the time, and the CSM refuses to roster accordingly because she "wants bonus". What a selfish bitch! There are only 15 checkouts all together, and when I'm on smoke shop which is whenever I'm not supervising I'm usually serving on express more then on smoke shop cos we're always busy...! The words "Can you serve on express for a bit"? maked me want to punch everyone. LOL, and the refurbishment for that store isnt till October :O
Supervising is a whoooole lot different. Constantly calling express alert and asking people to come out to a large lane and getting the eye role. STRESS! Never been so fucking stressed while working there. This would explain why all the other supervisors are grouchy! Told them I'm fully trained for office cashier but 'ohhhh NOOOO' apparently I have to be 18 (currently 17) to work in there. As if, I was training in there at 16 at my old store fools! But the manager just goes...ohh thats strange, and walks away!!!
Grrrrrrr, want back at my old store...how I miss it.
I do that Fridays and Saturdays at Coles, we call it "facing up", I guess the name comes from the fact that you pull the "faces" of the products from the back to the front and generally tidy up.but what does it stand for?
or is it like putting the "face" on the store so to speak?
i dont get it,
